The Melanated Diaspora is a celebration of the beautiful complexity of melanated identity.

We are not a monolith. There is no single way to look, live, speak, feel, create, lead, or exist while melanated. We can be soft and we can be bold. We can move gently and still take up space. We can command the room without raising our voices and shake the room when we choose to.

This collection challenges the stereotypes that tell us we are too loud, too strong, too much, or somehow not enough.
